What programs are offered at Orange Technical College?
How does it work?
- You go to the OTC college campus for three to four periods a day.
- While at the OTC college campus, you are engaged in hands-on learning taught by industry professionals.
- Transportation to and from the OTC college campus is provided & free.
- You can also gain industry certifications while doing dual enrollment.
- It can mean a higher starting wage for a high school graduate.
- Adult students have to pay to take these tests, but they are free to dual enrollment students (while you are in high school).
OCPS Tech Express to Valencia College
- Some programs offer articulation credits to Valencia College.
What are the eligibility requirements?
- Have a viable career-themed technical goal
- Junior or Senior
- At least a 2.0 unweighted GPA
- On track for graduation
- Strongly encouraged for students to have passed the FSA or equivalent test
- Three to four free elective periods available in your schedule
