Attending Events

ATTENDING SCHOOL EVENTS

To attend a school event, you must meet the following requirements: 

 

1) Be free of media center obligations.

2) No Level 4 referrals in the past calendar year or be on active suspension at time of the event.

3) Have at least a 2.3 unweighted GPA.

4) Have no F's in any core/ graduation requirement classes at the time of request. 

5) Be deemed as "on track to graduate" by your Guidance counselor

6) Having any of the following will flag you for non-clearance:

  1. 10 Full Day Unexcused Absences
  • NOTE: Missing 4 class periods in one day counts as 1 full day absence. 
  1. Missed 10 Total Individual Class Periods Unexcused. 
  • NOTE: 5 tardies counts as 1 missed class period. 
  1. TARDIES AND CLASS PERIODS WILL BE COMBINED.  
  • Example: 10 tardies (Which equals 2 class periods) + missing 13 individual class periods = 15 class periods.
  1. 40 Tardies (To Class)
