Updates and Reminders

As we close the school year, we wanted to send out helpful reminders and updates, as School Counselors are not working throughout the summer.

Answers to most questions can be found on the school website… or your student's OCPS email or the Student Body Canvas page through your student's account. 


Graduated Seniors


Final Transcripts will be sent electronically to the institution
that was selected in Scoir.
If you haven’t selected your institution please do so
ASAP to ensure your transcript is sent. 

Please share with us where you are
planning to go after high school.

  1. Open Launch pad, click the Scoir tile
  2. On the far right of your screen, find 
    Share your Plans - you may have to
    scroll down a little
  3. Click to open/edit that box
  4. Choose from the following:
    • Which school you are enrolling for college
    • Your outcome/application status for each college
    • Delaying college enrollment for 1-2 years - like a gap year
    • Workforce - Getting a full/part time job
    • Military - Joining one of the military branches
    • Trade School - Going to Orange Technical College
      or another technical college
    • Other - Any other plans don't fit the above

1 official copy will be available for pick up in the front office,
once processed by the district office. This is expected to be mid- late June.

Check your Valencia atlas email account for information on ordering
your textbooks for summer and fall classes

If you are interested in taking a course through FLVS this
summer please register for the course before June 2nd
in order for the classes to be approved by the school counselors.

Community Service


If you are interested in completing community service over
the summer please submit your proposal form before June 2nd.
(If the proposal form was previously approved- you do not need
to submit another one for that site.) Additional information
regarding Community service can be found on our website:



To withdraw your Student from Windermere HS please
come in between 11am-2pm. Turn in your laptop at the
media center and then come to the Front Office to sign
a Withdrawal Form and request transcripts/papers.

New Students


Registration is handled by the registrar, Ms. Martinez.
When registering please provide a completed transcript.
The counselors will review transcripts and create
schedules upon their return in August.

Course Request/ Schedule Changes


Please note that schedules will not be ready until early August.
Students will have an opportunity to request schedule
changes during Add/Drop at the beginning of the
school year.
Please do not email your counselor
over the summer asking for schedule changes.
