Student Services: Senior End of Year Information

 Congratulations on your accomplishment!

 Here are few important reminders:

  • All school obligations must be met no later than June 15th. You will receive an email to your OCPS student email with obligations due prior to June 15th. 
  • Beginning June 15th, every senior will receive two transcripts: one official transcript for the student to provide to their post-secondary institution and one unofficial for the student’s records.
  • If you are attending a Florida school, the assigned counselor can submit a final transcript through the Skyward system. Please request a digital transcript be sent using this form: IN STATE DIGITAL TRANSCRIPT REQUEST 
  • If you are an international student, please complete the International transcript request form. There is a postage fee that must be paid through school pay. Please use this form to request transcripts and/or diplomas to mailed internationally.
  • All final transcripts for NCAA will be sent automatically to the Eligibility Center by June 15th. If you have attended another school outside of Orange County during your high school career, please contact that school to also submit a final transcript.
  • Beginning June 15th, diplomas will be available for pickup.  

Seniors.....Community Service Hours deadline extended to May 29th. Don't forget pre-approval must be done before you complete the service. Here is the form in case you need it. Check out our resource page as we have added some more opportunities/ideas.

  • Tuesday, May 26th - Aloha Senior Day  - Check the attachment for details-- Turn in your laptop and more!
  • Please complete the OCPS Senior Survey 2020.  This is found in Naviance on your home page under to-dos.

    5. Complete the survey and hit submit.

  • Report any scholarship, grant, or aid you've received or been offered
  • Scholarships - You can still apply for scholarships!!!!
  • Senior Banners - Parents hang banners Wednesday, May 27th from 8am to 3pm on the fenceline- Use Social distancing - bring zip ties or other ties to tie your banner to the fenceline - Banner can't be larger than a twin bedsheet (70in x 100in) - Do not move other banners - banners deemed inappropriate or hung without any sort of adhesive will be removed - Show your Senior Pride!!!
  • Victor E. Lap - Thursday, May 28th from 6pm-8pm - Drive through the student parking lot.  You must stay in your car.  You may decorate your vehicle, wear your cap and gown, et.
  • Get your files in your OCPS google drive: Google Takeout allows graduating students to download and archive their data from Google Apps including Contacts, Calendar, Drive, YouTube and more. This is important as students who have graduated will no longer have access to their OCPS Google account. That means if seniors want to keep anything they’ve saved or created in their Google Drive, they should download their files using Google Takeout before May 28th.
  • Friday, May 29th - Aloha Senior Day  - Check the attachment for details-- Turn in your laptop and more!
  • Yearbooks are being mailed to your home. If you ordered a yearbook and have moved, please let Ms. Beckman know so she can change your address for Herff Jones.
  • Final transcripts will be available around June 15th. Colleges may be asking for them in your portal but they are aware that they won't be available until the middle of June.
